Mechmar operates two manufacturing facilities that support our customers across the region.
Manufacturing Facility in Johor, Malaysia
Mechmar’s Malaysian manufacturing facility in Johor has supported the company’s boiler-production activities since the manufacture of its first boiler in 1977.
The facility combines experienced fabrication personnel, production equipment, inspection processes and engineering support to manufacture boilers for a wide range of industrial applications.
PT Mechmar Jaya Industries, Medan, Indonesia
Mechmar strengthened its regional manufacturing capability with the establishment of PT Mechmar Jaya Industries in Medan, Indonesia.
The facility enables Mechmar to support customers in Indonesia and neighbouring markets while maintaining the group’s established manufacturing and quality requirements.
Controlled In-House Fabrication
Critical fabrication activities are managed internally wherever appropriate, giving Mechmar closer control over workmanship, production quality and compliance with approved engineering drawings.
Depending on the equipment and applicable requirements, manufacturing activities may include:
- Material preparation and cutting
- Plate rolling and forming
- Welding and assembly
- Tube installation and expansion

Mechmar sources specified materials from recognised suppliers and steel manufacturers. Materials are checked against the applicable technical specifications before entering the fabrication process.
