The Solution

Engineering the Boiler Before It Reached the Site

To support the project's requirements, Mechmar supplied an MB3500 Fire Tube Boiler designed as a pre-assembled boiler package.

Instead of carrying out extensive mechanical assembly at site, a significant portion of the boiler package was engineered, fabricated, integrated and inspected at Mechmar's manufacturing facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia, before shipment.

By completing much of the mechanical integration in the factory, the amount of work required on-site was significantly reduced, allowing the installation process to be carried out more efficiently.

According to the project team, the agreed site installation scope was completed within seven days.

That outcome was made possible through detailed engineering, factory pre-assembly and careful project planning long before the equipment left Malaysia.
